This is the complementary site for the four week EKG elective at RWJMS. The EKG section relies on student completion of the EKG workbook.
The EKG workbook (12 Lead EKG Confidence: Step by Step to Mastery. Jacqueline Green and Anthony Chiaramida, LWW, 2003) is provided free to students taking the elective.
An expert system, JOSEPH, provides an additional teaching tool for those interested. This is the newest version of JOSEPH, an Artificial Intelligence Expert System for the teaching of EKG reading skills.
. The EKG gallery is organized by chapter, and follows the outline of the book, 12 Lead EKG Confidence. The EKG's are meant to be interpreted in a clinical context.
EKG forum I have been teaching medical students, interns, and residents for over twenty years. I enjoy doing it. Please be unafraid about posting. This is a place to post any questions about anything related to this web site: articles, EKG's in the gallery, the workbook, etc. It is also a place to send your own EKG's for others to learn from.
